Bare Paws Rescue seeks dedicated volunteers to help with various tasks, including administrative support and assisting with the care of foster dogs. Volunteers can make a significant difference even if they are unable to foster.

Volunteers are needed to sew pajamas and other clothes for Chinese Cresteds and other small dogs. The proceeds from these items benefit Bare Paws Rescue.

The Sanbornton Fire & Rescue Department is a "combination" department made up of three full-time and 15 On-Call / Per Diem members that protect a 50 square mile area with a full time population of 3,000 people that swells to over 8,000 in the summer months, the department responds to around 500 calls per year. | Requirements: You can either be a firefighter or EMT or Both. Firefighters need to either be a State of New Hampshire certified Firefighter or be willing to get certified within 1 year. EMS personnel need to a be at a minimum of Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic or be willing to get certified within 1 year. If you are interested in both aspects, you will need to start out as either Firefighter or EMS personnel first and then we will help you expand your training. The work and training are difficult, the commitment is required but the rewards are immeasurable. Volunteers participate in field or laboratory work as part of the Upper Merrimack Monitoring Program. Responsibilities include collecting water samples, assisting with bacteria and chemical testing, and participating in biomonitoring activities.

Volunteers assist with water quality monitoring activities at adopted sites, including bacteria and chemical testing and biomonitoring. Volunteers receive free training in river-related conservation activities and are recognized for their contributions.

Assist in supporting parents, children, and friends who are coming to terms with their LGBTQ+ loved ones. Participate in monthly support meetings and help educate the public about gender identity and orientation issues.

Provide rides to New Americans for appointments, ensuring they can access health and other necessary services. This role is crucial for their integration and access to community resources.

Teach a skill beneficial to Women or Youth Groups, or assist in Citizenship Classes. Skills in organizational leadership, fundraising, grant-writing, or accounting are particularly valuable.

Assist with administrative tasks to allow case managers to focus on clients. This support is vital for the smooth operation of the organization.
