Provide daily care for resident education ambassador birds and assist with the care of rehab birds. Responsibilities include preparing food, cleaning cages and outdoor mews, and maintaining the center. Volunteers must be reliable, 18 or older, and comfortable handling bird food such as fish, mealworms, and rodents.

Help organize and set up picnics, education classes, general membership meetings, and fundraising events. Volunteers play a key role in ensuring events run smoothly and successfully.

Write articles and fact sheets for AWBRC publications and website. Develop training manuals and informational booklets to support the Center's mission.

Assist with computer input, organize files, sort pictures, and create scrapbooks or presentation packets. Volunteers help maintain the administrative side of the Center.

Assist with education events and programs, meet the public, and promote the Center. Prepare educational displays and create new programs to engage the community.
