Teens and adults can sign up to help at the library on a limited or regular basis by filling out a Volunteer Application. Volunteers may be called upon for various tasks as needed by the library.

Join Emily at the library on Tuesday afternoons through August 12th, from 1 PM - 3 PM, for a variety of activities to give back to the library and our community. Each week features a different project, and teens are encouraged to bring their own ideas for collaboration.

Develop and present an arts or crafts program at the library. Volunteers are encouraged to outline a proposal detailing the art or craft program they could offer to the community.

Help grow and diversify the club by getting to know new and current members through conversations about what is important to them.

Help maintain the health and resilience of the important ecosystems living at the BANC sanctuary. Invasive plants and animals threaten nature’s balance and are a constant and growing challenge.

Keeping the sanctuary clubhouse and grounds usable is an ongoing project. Tasks include keeping the mower running, fixing a broken doorknob, and scheduling chimney inspections and gutter cleanings.

Help recruit knowledgeable speakers, organize field trips, plan social events, and host gatherings. The Program Committee needs your ideas and energy to keep BANC’s programs of the highest quality possible.

Help keep the clubhouse gardens amazing by watering, weeding, and installing plants. This is a great opportunity to get outdoors and commune with nature.
