Volunteers assist in loading, unloading, and transporting dogs to and from adoptions and vet appointments during events or as needed.

Garden volunteers will perform a variety of tasks required to maintain the Garden and help it flourish: planting, harvesting, composting, pulling weeds, feeding animals, and hunting for pests. Expect to bend, get a little dirty, and soak up some sun.

Mobile Harvest is a program that aims to minimize food waste and empower healthy choices in food insecure households by providing access to nutritious fruits and vegetables for free. Volunteers help distribute produce at partnering agencies.

Become an Advocate by completing training that will enable you to operate an educational booth on your own, accept mammogram applications, and provide information about breast health. This role is crucial for raising awareness and educating the community about breast health.

Volunteer for events at Health and Resources Fairs throughout the Texas Panhandle, primarily in Amarillo. Volunteers are asked to commit to working a shift alongside PBH staff and/or board members to help facilitate these important community events.

Lead tour groups through the museum or remain in a specific area to answer questions and make visitors feel at home. Training is provided for those who need it.

Help maintain the museum's appearance by working on a schedule or on-call basis to ensure it looks attractive to guests. This role is crucial in keeping the museum looking world-class.
