Assist in various community programs such as school gardens, nutrition and cooking classes, and youth programs to help build a sustainable local food system. Volunteers will engage with community members and support educational initiatives.

We are actively seeking applicants for Volunteer Firefighter. Our department runs 100% staff and work as both firefighters and emergency medical responders (first responders). Each new applicant will go through 1 year of probationary membership, and assigned a mentor to help them through this first year and their initial training. | Requirements: Each new recruit must complete a Mandatory, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations, Firefighter 1/2 prior to responding to emergency incidents. While it is not yet required for our firefighters to have emergency medical responder or above it is highly encouraged. | Categories: Firefighter, Department Support
