We provide services to the town of Naches. We average nearly 350 calls a year with around 25 active personnel. The Naches Heights Fire Department is an all-volunteer department that was formed in 1950 for fire protection in the Highland area of Naches Heights and the south lower Naches area of Yakima County. Naches Heights responds to approximately 125 calls per year; 70% of these calls are fires, while 30% are emergency medical. Our roster consists of 22 members, 13 of which are EMTs. These members of the fire department, who are your friends and neighbors, pride themselves on being trained and equipped to respond to any incident within our district at any time. No matter what, our patrons know that when they call for assistance, our firefighters will always respond. Coordinate with businesses and organizations for food drives, speak to community organizations about supporting the Food Bank, and promote the Food Bank on social media. This role can be performed from home.
