Help set up the area for Kolam competitions, including arranging materials and ensuring the space is ready for participants. Volunteers will work with a team to facilitate the smooth running of the competition.

Volunteers assist with various tasks during events, including concessions, box office operations, and ushering. This role is vital to ensuring that events run smoothly and attendees have a great experience.

Open and prep bags for filling with various produce and close bags for distribution. Volunteers must wear appropriate footwear and be able to work independently.

Assist clients as they shop in the Choice Pantry, clean up the pantry area, and weigh pantry items for reporting purposes. Volunteers must be able to lift items and work independently.

Drivers are needed on Thursdays to deliver food packages to vulnerable families who lack transportation. Delivery is contactless, and addresses are provided on delivery day.

Ensure that clients receive the correct size and quantity of diapers during distribution. Volunteers should be prepared to assist clients and handle various tasks.

Assemble boxes, prepare and organize materials, and fill and seal boxes for food distribution. Volunteers must be 15 years or older and able to lift 25 pounds.

Join volunteers from all walks of life to help maintain and improve the Rails to Trails path in Mount Airy. Tasks include clearing debris, landscaping, and general trail maintenance. Volunteers work together to enhance the community's outdoor spaces.

Transport dogs to and from the kennel, vet appointments, or adoption events. Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable handling dogs during transit.

Volunteers are needed to walk dogs at the kennel, providing them with exercise and socialization. This role is crucial for the well-being of the dogs as they await adoption.

Assist with organizing and running adoption events, including setting up booths, showcasing dogs, and interacting with potential adopters. Volunteers help create a welcoming environment for visitors.

Advocate for environmental issues by participating in campaigns and initiatives that promote conservation and protection of natural habitats in central Maryland. Volunteers will engage with the community and local organizations to raise awareness and support for environmental causes.

Assist in maintaining and improving the Audubon Society of Central Maryland's sanctuaries to ensure they remain safe and welcoming for both wildlife and visitors. Tasks may include habitat restoration, trail maintenance, and facility upkeep.
