Front of House volunteers ensure a welcoming and organized experience for patrons attending performances. Responsibilities include ticketing, ushering guests to their seats, and managing concessions sales before and during shows.

Costume Drapers assist in the creation and fitting of theatrical costumes, working with patterns and fabrics. This role requires attention to detail and a passion for costume design and construction for stage productions.

Volunteers support various outreach and promotional activities for the festival. This can include assisting at farmers' markets, the annual Bard-B-Q fundraiser, and concerts, as well as general marketing efforts to engage the community.

Production Assistants work alongside the backstage staff to support various aspects of theatre production. Responsibilities may include general stage support, prop management, and assisting technical teams with daily tasks.

Support the hair and makeup team in preparing performers for stage. This includes assisting with wig styling, applying theatrical makeup, and ensuring all actors are ready for their cues and appearances.

Assist the sound team with audio equipment setup, microphone placement, and sound checks. This role ensures clear and effective audio delivery for performances and contributes to the overall theatrical experience.

Paint Assistants contribute to the artistic finish of theatrical sets and props. This involves applying various paint techniques and colors to create textures and visual effects according to design specifications.

Capture photos and videos of adoptable animals for online marketing. Event photographers are also needed to promote HFP and animal rescue efforts.

Participate in numerous events throughout the year, often held in collaboration with local businesses. Volunteers help handle animals and interact with participants. Commitment to 3+ events per year is preferred.

Assist with dog assessments at shelters and dog-to-dog introductions. Requires a reliable vehicle and relevant experience in the dog industry.
