Join us for a Volunteer Trail Work Day to help build and maintain the trail network. Open to all ages, no experience is necessary, and participants will receive guidance on trail work. Each session is capped at 20 participants and includes a celebration with pizza and seltzers at the end.

Newark Volunteer Fire Department is always seeking new volunteers for firefighters, EMTs, and Auxiliary Members to support our operations and fundraising. We provide training and opportunities to obtain career certifications such as EMT and Firefighter I and II. We have one station, three apparatus, and 15 current members. Newark VT is a rural town of 584 residents and more seasonal residents. We provide EMS first response as well as fire response.
