The Big Sister Program pairs fatherless daughters with caring mentors who provide guidance, support, and friendship. Through regular meetings and group activities, Big Sisters help young women explore their identities and develop essential life skills.

Help promote The Freecycle Network on social media platforms by creating posts and engaging with followers. Team members are expected to create 1-2 new posts per week and check platforms regularly to respond to messages.

Help tidy and reset the community cat room each morning by cleaning litter boxes, refreshing food and water, and creating a calm, clean space for our feline guests. This role requires one volunteer daily from 9:00–10:00 AM.

Assist in cleaning and resetting adoptable cat kennels by replacing bedding, sanitizing surfaces, refreshing food and water, and giving the cats some love. This role requires two volunteers daily from 9:00–11:00 AM.

Provide enrichment for dogs through walking, play, and socialization, helping them stay happy, healthy, and ready for adoption. Shifts are flexible between 11:30 AM–1:30 PM and 3:00–5:00 PM.

Transport cats and dogs to veterinary appointments, requiring a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Shifts are on Thursdays from 6:30–7:30 AM and/or 3:00–4:00 PM, with additional shifts as needed. Mileage reimbursement is available.

As a Warehouse Volunteer, you will assist in sorting produce, sorting donated items, and building boxes for home delivery. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and will be provided with gloves for handling food items.

As a Community Engagement Volunteer, you will assist in organizing events and activities that promote awareness and support for children with disabilities. Responsibilities include helping with event logistics, outreach, and engaging with community members.
