Volunteers are needed to help organize and facilitate community events throughout the year, including the Annual Prayer Breakfast. Responsibilities include event setup, coordination, and engaging with community members to promote unity and understanding.

As a program volunteer, you will assist the program leader in facilitating activities for participants with Down syndrome. This role requires a general knowledge of Down syndrome, which can be gained through volunteer orientation.

As a tutor, you will help individuals with Down syndrome learn to read or improve their math skills. This role requires a commitment of one hour per week for a ten-week session, and you will work directly with the family of the child you are tutoring to schedule sessions.

Join the Clean Team to help maintain a clean and organized environment at GiGi's Playhouse. This opportunity involves coming in once a month to clean toys and organize the space, making it a great fit for youth groups or businesses.

Assist in assembling care bags filled with basic necessities for children entering foster care. Volunteers will help organize and pack items such as toiletries, underwear, and school supplies into suitcases.

Create and gather luggage tags for the suitcases provided to foster children. This role involves crafting and organizing tags to ensure each suitcase is properly labeled.

Make no-sew fleece throws to be included in the care packages for foster children. Volunteers will cut and tie fleece material to create warm and comforting blankets.

Host a donation drive at your school, church, or workplace to collect items needed for the care packages. Volunteers will organize and promote the drive to gather donations effectively.

Write encouraging notes to children who have entered foster care. These notes are included in the suitcases provided to children, offering them hope and comfort during their transition.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the new mountain biking system at Marcella Vivrette Smith Park. Volunteers will help with trail evaluation, design, and construction in collaboration with local community groups.

Volunteers will engage in various community service projects such as organizing food drives, raising money for scholarships, and participating in tailgating at athletic events. Volunteers will also contribute to other non-profit entities.

Provide administrative help such as data entry, organizing, and equipment inventory. Volunteers will also assist with professional tasks like marketing, IT, fundraising, and legal support.

Assist youth and adult photographers with disabilities during photography club outings and events in the community. Responsibilities include helping with sharing, editing, and printing digital photos, as well as preparing for community exhibits and special projects.

Provide technical support for the Charity Cities website. Volunteers will assist with troubleshooting, updates, and ensuring the website runs smoothly for users.

Assist in the coordination and execution of residential and business pickup services. Volunteers will help with the logistics of collecting and delivering items to support various charity initiatives.

Help manage and create content for Charity Cities' social media platforms. Volunteers will engage with the community, promote events, and increase the organization's online presence.
