We are seeking volunteers who can work with our animals on a weekly basis. Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular shift once a week, rain or shine, and must live within an hour of Hampton, NJ.

Our department is looking for motivated individuals who are looking for a challenge and want to help their community. We serve a community of about 5 square miles and respond to approx 20-25 working structure fires each year. The community is still growing with a few shopping centers and mixed residential developments. All training is paid for 100% with no financial obligation from you. As a probationary firefighter you will assist with life safety and property salvation. As a probationary member you are expected to have all required training prior to starting your membership. Join DASACC in making a difference in the lives of survivors of domestic violence by becoming a Crisis Response Volunteer. Volunteers will receive training to provide emotional support, navigate community services, and advocate for survivors.

Support the arts in your community by helping with mailings, serving on committees, assisting in fundraising, and helping with exhibition receptions. Volunteers also tend to the museum’s garden, greet visitors, and answer phones at the reception desk.

Assist with the summer art camp, supporting the Education Department in delivering art education to young participants. Engage with children in creative activities and help manage camp logistics.

Lead exhibition tours for children or adults, providing insights and information about current exhibitions. Assist with exhibition installations and the Education Department with Young Artists Showcase installation.

Help with fundraising efforts to support the care of rescued rabbits. This may include organizing fundraising events or campaigns.

Assist with organizing and publicizing events to raise awareness and funds for the rescue. Tasks may include setting up events, engaging with the public, and promoting the organization.

Provide temporary homes for rabbits in need, ensuring they receive proper care and attention. Experience with rabbit care is preferred.

Join us in the fields to help harvest fresh produce. Volunteers can work solo or in groups, and no prior experience is necessary. Events typically occur on weekdays from June to November, and we will provide details on the specific farm location a few days before your scheduled visit.

Bring your group of 2-250 people to volunteer together at our farms. We welcome corporate teams, school groups, and community organizations to help harvest and glean fresh produce. No experience is necessary, and we will guide you through the process.

Help us pick up and deliver fresh produce to local food pantries and soup kitchens. This role is vital in ensuring that our harvested produce reaches those in need. Volunteers are needed for various delivery routes throughout the week.

The Oxford Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer fire department. We have been active since 1945. We are always accepting new members to serve and protect the citizens of Oxford and White township. We are equipped with 2 engines and a tanker/tender for our non hydrated/ rural areas, we also have a john deer gator equipped with a water tank that is used to assist forest fire and also assist for off road searches. Our county fire academy where we send our recruits to getbtheir firefighter certificate is located 10 minutes away in washington. Currently, we have about 20 rostered members lead by our Chief Tim Weiss, asst. Chief Kevin Murray, Captain Matt Correll and LT Josh Reeder. Ne are always looking to add more members to our roster! We have a drill 2x a month on Monday along with our 1st Monday being a meeting and the 3rd being a truck/equipment maintenance day for a total of 4 Mondays per month and the occasional weekend drills. If firefighting doesn't seem like you're cup of tea, but you'd still like to help, we are also accepting members of our auxilary department to help with fundraising and providing food/drinks at extended calls.
