Under the supervision of the Fire Chief, the Volunteer Firefighter performs advanced firefighting work in preventing, combating, and extinguishing fires, responding to hazardous materials incidents and emergency calls which include special rescue situations such as vehicle crashes, as well as provide support for Athens County EMS providers. Our main protection area is the Village of Glouster, but we also provide protection to area within Trimble Township. Transport dogs from the shelter, foster homes, or boarding facilities to and from veterinary appointments, ensuring they receive necessary medical care.
