Join the Pollinator Team to maintain and develop areas such as the Prairie Rehab Project and Pollinator Demonstration Garden. Volunteers meet at the Harmony Trail parking lot on Fridays from March through September.

Assist with sales at the Woodland Gift Shop located in the new Visitor Center. Volunteers are expected to commit to at least a half day per week or one weekend day per month.

The Williamson County Fire Protection District (W.C.F.P.D.) consists of 7 fire stations through out Williamson County. The district is managed by a full time paid Chief, 3 Career Firefighters and a Secretary. The district has a wide variety of specialized equipment and well equipped trained paid-on-call members. The district is equipped for most emergencies that may arise with 8 engines, 7 tenders with 2,200 gallons of water each, 7 brush trucks, and 50 Paid On Call firefighters. This is not a full time job that you can live off of we pay out a stipend once a year based on the amount of calls and training's you attend, that being said many of our members have went on to be career firefighters! | Requirements: You must be 18 years of age. Volunteers are needed to assist with bathing and grooming animals, as well as exercising them while they wait to be adopted. Volunteers can also help at future events organized by the rescue.

Food crew members are responsible for keeping everyone fed during camp. They make sure to accommodate everyone’s dietary restrictions and keep the eating/kitchen areas clean.

An instrument instructor teaches beginning and/or advanced instruction on one instrument: guitar, bass, keys, drums, or vocals. We teach a rudimentary curriculum with the expectation that every camper has learned at least three chords for the week, can play in time, and understands gear basics (plugging in, tuning, troubleshooting).

A camp counselor mentors one band, in partnership with the band coach. Counselors work to foster collaboration, communication, kindness, support, collective care, respect, and comfort in a non-competitive environment. Counselors must be patient, compassionate, and able to multi-task!

A band coach mentors one band all week and works to foster collaboration and communication among the band, ensures each youth is comfortable on their gear, facilitates songwriting, and preps for a stellar performance.

Workshop leaders are expected to create the curriculum and provide a list of materials needed for a variety of workshops at YRC Camp. Full week volunteers may teach workshops but we also welcome outside leaders.
