Organization Overview: Saxtons River First Response Rescue, Inc. is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing top-tier volunteer first response care to the citizens of Saxtons River and its surrounding communities. Positions Available: We are currently seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our team in the following volunteer capacities: Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) Fundraising and Grant Writing Assistants Responsibilities: EMR, EMT, AEMT: Respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, and to transport the patient to a medical facility when required. Perform assessments, provide emergency care, and administer life-saving interventions as needed. Work as part of a team with other emergency response professionals and healthcare providers. Participate in ongoing training and drills to ensure readiness and up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures and equipment. Fundraising and Grant Writing Assistants:Assist in the development and execution of fundraising strategies to support the organization's operations and growth. Research, identify, and apply for grants applicable to the funding needs of first-response services.Organize and participate in community fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives. Collaborate with team members to promote the organization's mission and increase public engagement. Qualifications:Certification as an EMR, EMT, or AEMT (as applicable for medical response roles). Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or a strong willingness to learn (for fundraising and grant writing assistants). Commitment to the mission and values of Saxtons River First Response Rescue, Inc. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
