This volunteer experience is for those who have completed at least one year of college or are 18 years or older. Summer staff roles require considerable maturity and involve various jobs such as cooking, maintenance, and program support for three weeks to one month during the summer.

High school students can participate in the Work Crew program, which involves various roles such as dining hall servers and housekeepers for about one month during the summer. Applicants must complete local training and receive a recommendation from Young Life staff.

Physicians are needed to provide medical care for campers and volunteers during the summer and school season camps. This role involves triage assessment and emergency care, with accommodations provided for the physician and their family during their week of service.

Join college and career-aged volunteers for the annual Work Weekend to prepare the camp for summer. Tasks include mulching, painting, and housekeeping, with no prior experience needed. This opportunity is free of charge.

You'll work both individually and on a casework team to provide assistance and referrals. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and familiarity with military culture.

As a Disaster Action Team volunteer, you can be a source of refuge and support for people who have just lost everything. You will respond as part of an assigned team to local disasters, delivering immediate direct client assistance and assessing the need for additional resources. Regular training and meetings are required.
