Greenehaven Fire Department

Greenehaven Fire Department is looking for a few good men or women to help protect their community. The perfect volunteer is a Greenehaven resident who is looking for a way to give back to their community. Man or woman, young or old, experience or not, we can use you. If you have about 5 hours a month to make a difference in someones life, we have the job for you. | Requirements: Because the fire and EMS service puts us in positions of trust, we have to ask that an applicant be free of any legal problems. This includes DUIs, convictions involving "moral turpitude", and/or any felony convictions. Other than that, if you're reasonably healthy, are willing to learn, and would enjoy the personal satisfaction that goes with being part of a group of people who give back something to their community, we're looking for you. The department will train you, furnish your equipment, and ensure that you return home safely. If you have experience in the fire or EMS service, so much the better. Greenehaven also has a limited number of paid positions for experienced firefighters and / or EMS providers. A great way to pick up a little cash. Age or gender are not factors. Greenehaven residents are especially needed. | Categories: Community Education, Department Support, EMT, Firefighter
