Assist individuals in preparing for their GED exams by providing tutoring in various subjects. Volunteers should be patient and supportive, helping clients build confidence and skills.

Assist with childcare and educational activities at the Atkinson Child Development Center. Volunteers should enjoy working with children and be able to engage them in learning and play.

Help clients select groceries at the Choice Market Food Pantry. Volunteers should be friendly and organized, assisting clients in making healthy food choices.

TASK welcomes young volunteers. If you’re 13 or older, you can help with meal service and other projects at our Escher Street location. If you’re younger than 13 – or any age, you can still help by participating in a Service Project or Donation Drive.

Assist in organizing and sorting clothes in The Rescue Mission's Thrift Store. Volunteers will help ensure that the store is well-maintained and that items are properly displayed.

Join us for a day of service in our community gardens, ideal for groups of 15 or under. Prior planning of the project is required, and both indoor and outdoor projects can be arranged.
