As a Tour Guide, you will lead visitors through the Black House Museum and the grounds, sharing the history of Woodlawn and the family that lived there. This role requires being on your feet for extended periods and climbing stairs.

This role involves working behind the scenes with historic objects in the Black House Museum. Volunteers will assist with cleaning objects, data entry, and organizing historic photographs.

Support the Woodlawn staff with various office tasks, including preparing mailings, data entry, and record keeping. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and organized.

As a Visitor Associate, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to Woodlawn. Responsibilities include assisting with tour selection, retail sales in the gift shop, and providing information about the history of Woodlawn and the surrounding area.

Help maintain the 2 miles of forested trails at Woodlawn. Tasks may include root removal, laying wood chips, and assisting with trail maintenance and tree removal.

Event Volunteers assist in planning and executing various events at Woodlawn. Tasks include setting up, checking in participants, distributing materials, and cleaning up after events.

Share your knowledge and skills with young adults with disabilities. Collaborate with Nature Links to create engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity and confidence in participants.

Volunteers welcome visitors to our museum at the reception desk, providing information and assistance as needed. This role is crucial for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Volunteers help maintain the facilities, ensuring that the museum and surrounding areas are clean and well-kept. This role involves basic maintenance tasks.

Volunteers assist in running events, helping with setup, coordination, and ensuring smooth execution. This role is vital for the success of our community events.

Volunteers transport islanders and visitors on our Cranberry Explorer shuttle, ensuring safe and timely travel across the island. This role requires a valid driver's license.

Safety riders accompany the trikes on their own bikes, assisting with the safe movement of the group on the Carriage Roads. They must complete a training session and commit to regular shifts during the ride season.

Pilots are responsible for pedaling the trikes and ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride for participants. They must complete a four-hour training session and commit to a minimum of two half-day shifts per month from June through September.
