The Thetford Volunteer Fire Department is a private, non-profit agency that is contracted to provide fire and ems response to the Town of Thetford. We are a highly trained organization that provides fire suppression, emergency medical service, hazardous materials response (operations level) and specialized rescue services. In addition, we provide extrication response for 3 neighboring towns in addition to Thetford and a variety of mutual aid services such as Firefighter rehab and medical monitoring, technical rescue and wilderness response. We are a diverse organization with a commitment to an inclusive team environment.
