As a Visitor Services Volunteer, you will greet visitors, answer phones, and assist with inquiries about programs and trails. This role requires no prior experience, just a friendly demeanor and an appreciation for PEEC and the outdoors.

Support the operations of PEEC by helping with animal care, greenhouse upkeep, event setup, and exhibit maintenance. A can-do attitude and some hands-on experience are beneficial for this role.

As a Trail Steward, you will work under the direction of park rangers to improve trails at PEEC and within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. This role involves meeting once a month from April to November, with free housing or camping provided.

Volunteers will help assemble approximately 250+ bags each week at the warehouse, which are then delivered to schools for students in need. This is a great opportunity for team building and community service hours.

Volunteers will sit at The Weekend Bag Table, greet visitors, discuss the program, share literature, promote events, and engage visitors with activities. This role involves collecting emails for newsletters and volunteer interest.

High school and college-aged students are invited to join the Youth Council, holding leadership roles and making decisions for the program. Members will represent the program at public events and communicate with local entities.
