Group Mentors guide mentees through lesson plans provided by guest speakers, offering one-on-one guidance if trauma arises. A stable presence is important for the mentees' development.

Therapeutic Mentors are needed to lead group and one-on-one sessions with mentees, addressing traumas that may arise. Professionals in counseling, psychology, social work, or holistic health are encouraged to apply.

Engage in hands-on activities such as cleaning invasive limu out of Waihonu pond and painting picnic tables. This role is perfect for those who don't mind getting dirty while contributing to the maintenance of the gardens.

Assist in setting up and breaking down events, welcoming guests, and providing information. This role involves working with the County of Hawaiʻi and community groups to host events in the Gardens.

Provide administrative, clerical, and digital media support to the Friends of Liliʻuokalani Gardens, a completely volunteer-run nonprofit organization.

Participate in outdoor activities like cleaning monuments and raking debris while staying mostly clean. This role is suitable for those who prefer to work outside without getting too dirty.

Join the crew on Mondays from 9:30am to 4:00pm to assist with forest restoration activities such as pulling invasive species and planting native seedlings. Volunteers can choose to work a full day or a half day ending at 1:00pm.
