Participate in the National Public Lands Day event by exchanging trash left on the refuge for treasures. Volunteers will help clean up the refuge and receive a t-shirt and lunch as a token of appreciation.

Join the Friends community in supporting the Wichita Mountains by helping with trail maintenance and various refuge projects. Volunteers will work alongside refuge staff to preserve and enhance the natural environment.

Volunteers are needed to conduct interpretive tours and work in the visitor center at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Responsibilities include guiding visitors, providing information, and assisting with refuge projects.
