Assist with the upkeep of TACS’ facilities, including building structures, studio equipment, and plumbing. Regular maintenance and special projects are available.

Help lead teachers in after-school youth programs and summer crafts for young artists aged 8 to 14. Volunteers are essential for providing support and encouragement to the young participants.

Ground volunteers assist in coordinating the logistics of animal transport, including arranging ground transport to and from airports and ensuring animals are ready for flights. Volunteers communicate with pilots and rescue groups to facilitate smooth operations.

The Glassy Mountain Fire Department is looking for persons interested in becoming volunteer firefighters. All training, uniforms, and protective equipment is provided. Once trained, volunteer firefighters can earn money by serving as paid-on-call firefighters and receive stipends for returning to fire calls.
