Entry positions available as Firefighter and we will provide training. Positions also open for seasoned Firefighter of Firefighter / EMT. WE also have opportunities for Firefighter Paramedic as a part-time or full-time employee. The Fire District covers 500 sq.mi. including 25 mi of US101 and 15 mi. of CA162 and responds to around 500 calls/year. In addition to Fire and Rescue apparatus we also staff a Paramedic Ambulance to an area of around 600 sq.mi. We respond to both Structural and Wildland Fires, Traffic Collisions, Technical and Swiftwater Rescues, HazMat Incidents, and Medical Aids. We staff 3 Type-1 Engines, 2 Type-3 Engines, 1 Water Tender, 1 Medium Rescue, and 1 ALS and 1 BLS Ambulance. | Requirements: Live within the responding area.
