Volunteer librarians assist with the operation of the Louisville Tool Library during open hours. Orientation is provided through a shadow shift during open library hours.

Assist in organizing and leading group bike rides at Logan Street Market. Volunteers will help ensure the safety of participants and promote a fun and engaging biking experience.

Conduct home visits for potential adopters to ensure their homes are safe and ready for a Weimaraner. Volunteers will travel up to 25 miles one-way and complete a checklist form.

Assist in transporting Weimaraners from their current locations to foster or adoptive homes. Volunteers may need to drive 40-70 miles and will be coordinated via email for specific dates and times.

Provide a loving temporary home to a rescued puppy or adult dog while they wait for their forever home. Responsibilities include caring for the dog's daily needs and helping them adjust to home life.

Participate in planning and working at special events to support the rescue's mission. Tasks may include event setup, coordination, and interacting with the public.

Analyze clients’ energy usage to find ways to improve efficiency and lower costs. Assist with energy audits and help organizations achieve net-zero status.

Manage LCAN's Instagram and assist with tabling at events. Engage with the community to promote environmental awareness and LCAN's initiatives.

Help to stock the virtual shelves of LCAN's Kids' Books and Videos web page. Assist in creating educational materials for schools.

Coordinate community events, offer social support by phone, send birthday cards, and help create/manage an online health and wellness community. This role fosters community spirit and support.

Talk to neighbors on the phone to place their grocery orders online for Grocery Bringers to pick up and deliver. This role is crucial in ensuring that neighbors receive the food and supplies they need.

Assist in keeping Bringing Justice Home running smoothly through data entry, spreadsheets, and bookkeeping. This role supports the administrative backbone of the organization.

Pick up groceries, household supplies, pet food, and personal items that have been ordered and are ready for pick-up, and deliver them to neighbors. This role makes a direct impact on the lives of those facing disabilities or health challenges.

Help grow the impact of Bringing Justice Home by spreading the word online and in the community. Engage on social media and staff tables at events to raise awareness.

Assist in raising awareness about illegal dumping in West Louisville. Volunteers will help organize community clean-up events and distribute educational materials to residents.

General volunteers assist with transporting dogs, organizing special events, and performing data entry and clerical tasks. Some tasks can be completed from home, providing flexibility for volunteers.
