Mayflower Vol Fire Dept
The City of Mayflower Fire/Rescue Department is seeking volunteers for our busy fire department. Our department is averaging nearly 1,000 calls for service a year in the largest Fire District in Faulkner County and we need your help to answer those calls. We are looking for apparatus drivers, interior/exterior firefighters, mechanics, and emergency medical responders. We have a place for anyone that is willing to donate their time and/or expertise and in helping our community and neighbors. We will provide all training and gear needed to get you started. Once on board with the department the opportunities for additional training are limitless (and free of charge) as we can host classes in house or send you to other agencies for more advanced training through the Arkansas Fire Academy. We regularly meet for training the first and third Monday from 630p-9p and the second Saturday morning each month.
