We are seeking volunteers to help capture special moments at OUTMemphis events! No special camera equipment is needed.

Assist at the Cooper Young Festival by providing information about OUTMemphis services and selling merchandise.

Assist in general cleaning, organizing, and maintenance at the Community Center.

Help maintain the vegetable garden at the Community Center to support food programs.

Volunteers are needed to build relationships within the community, focusing on long-term engagement rather than one-time projects. Volunteers should be committed to investing in people and fostering partnerships for sustainable development.

Assist in various community development projects aimed at enhancing the Broad Avenue area. Volunteers will engage in activities that support youth development, health initiatives, and educational programs.

Help by cooking or picking up meals for foster families who have just accepted a new placement, and provide meals at monthly Childcare Gatherings. Volunteers claim an open slot and deliver meals to families or gatherings.

Assist with childcare during monthly Caregiver Gatherings, allowing foster parents and caregivers a few hours to connect and take a break. Additional training is required.

Respond to Welcome Pack requests by packing and delivering to caregivers within 48 hours. Help organize the HUB to facilitate packing and fulfilling other needs.

Participate in a program for youth in grades 7-12 to connect with peers, learn advocacy skills, and engage in activities that promote health and wellness. Additional training on adolescent-specific issues is required.

Assist with planning and preparing fundraisers and events throughout the year. Prior non-profit fundraising or event planning experience is a plus. Flexible schedule and time commitment.

Assist youth in developing life skills such as self-confidence, self-esteem, decision making, and accountability. Engage in activities that promote social skill development and team building.

As a Crisis Line Specialist, you will be trained to assist callers with immediate problems and connect them to long-term resources. Volunteers must commit to at least one shift every other week, with available shifts in the morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight.

Assist in organizing and coordinating monthly meetings for Artists' Link Memphis. Responsibilities include setting up the venue, managing guest speakers, and ensuring smooth operations during the event.

Volunteers are essential to Gilda’s Club Memphis, helping to support various programs and activities that provide comfort and guidance to cancer patients and their families. Volunteers may assist in organizing events, facilitating workshops, and providing administrative support.
