The emergency services provided by Whiteford Township include providing prompt emergency medical care and transport, fire suppression, vehicle extrication, water rescues and other types of specialty rescues, and responding to other 911 dispatched calls. Help support newcomers with various opportunities such as welcoming at the airport, assisting with moving into their new home, and providing bus utilization training. Available at both Ann Arbor and Toledo locations.

Become an English as a Second Language tutor and help individuals improve their literacy skills. No previous experience or certification is needed, with both virtual and in-person opportunities available at Ann Arbor and Toledo locations.

Assist clients with job readiness coaching and support for Micro Enterprise Development clients at local farmers markets. Opportunities are available at both Ann Arbor and Toledo locations.

Assist in organizing and conducting nature workshops for children and families. Volunteers will help set up activities, guide participants, and ensure a safe and engaging environment.

Provide in-person support to families receiving a life-limiting diagnosis in pregnancy. Volunteers attend births, support parents, and help foster bonding and memory-making during the baby's brief life.

Participate in the foster program by providing temporary homes for dogs. All necessary supplies, including food and medical care, are provided by Hard Licker Ranch. Volunteers should be willing to care for and socialize dogs in their homes.
