Looking for a great way to give back? We are looking for volunteers for the Little Sisters of the Poor Lawn Party which will be held on October 19. There are 2-hour, 4-hour, and all-day shifts available. Please respond to this need and fill out the form below to sign up.

We are looking for a volunteer to occasionally come and fill up the bird seed feeders around the grounds of the Home. The Little Sisters of the Poor is a home for the elderly poor located in midtown Mobile. We are a non-profit and rely on generous volunteers to help accomplish our mission of loving service to the aging.

We are in need of dining room volunteers to assist in serving our elderly Residents breakfast and aid in clearing tables afterward. Meals in our dining room are served restaurant style. Breakfast is from 7:45 a.m. - 9 a.m. As a dining room volunteer, you'll enjoy getting to know our wonderful Residents while helping them in a meaningful way.
Aide for Animals
Volunteers are needed to assist in maintaining the cattery yard and perform general yard work. A genuine love and concern for animal welfare is required, and volunteers should enjoy interacting with dogs, cats, and other volunteers. Must be aged between 18 and 80.
Covenant Care
Provide support to patients and families in homes, nursing homes, or ALF's. Support includes companionship, respite for caregivers, assisting with small tasks, running errands, etc.

Provide telephone contact, mailings, and visits to family members following the death of a loved one. May help with adult support groups and/or Remembrance Ceremonies, and Camp Connect - a bereaved children's camp that is held annually.

Covenant Hospice is seeking active duty and veteran volunteers to support the We Honor Veterans program. Volunteers assist with outreach and education for veterans helping them to access hospice care and visit veteran patients to present them with certificates and pins, thanking them for their service to our country.

You can welcome a person learning English by volunteering as an office helper with Goodwill Gulf Coast! Participants arrive for classes at Goodwill's Azalea Community Center and often don't know where to go. You will be a welcoming smile and their source of information to join the correct class and learn English. You can make a BIG impact with a little time and effort!
