We provide fire prevention, suppression, investigation and paramedic EMS response to the City of Monona and surrounding communities. We have opportunities for new members to join our family oriented, community based department, and experience is NOT needed. Transport volunteers drive adoptable pets from various locations to Madison, ensuring safe and comfortable travel. Volunteers need a reliable vehicle and a good driving record, with mileage being tax-deductible.

Provide a temporary home for animals in need until they are adopted. Foster volunteers help animals adjust to home life and prepare them for their forever homes.

As a Sharing Center Host, you will assist clients during their shopping experience by checking them out and providing them with their diaper orders and other supplies. This role requires greeting clients and recording the items distributed to ensure accurate inventory management.

In this role, you will assist at the Donation Center entrance by receiving and unloading donations, putting them in pre-sort bins, and recording diaper donations. This position is crucial for managing incoming supplies efficiently.

In this role, you will deliver Safe Sleep essentials, such as Pack ‘n Play cribs, to families in need. Volunteers will be matched to deliver packages in their preferred regions and must complete a background check.

As a Baby Care Package Delivery Volunteer, you will deliver care packages to clients either at hospitals or their homes. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and insurance, and will be on call for deliveries during their assigned month.

As a Sharing Center Sorter, you will help sort baby items, restock shelves, and bundle diapers. This role can be done individually or as part of a group, and flexible scheduling is available.
