Jewish Family Service of MetroWest seeks volunteers in Morris County to enjoy activities with older adults in and out of their homes, providing companionship and joy.

We need help gathering content, generating ideas, and creating articles for The Dirt. Ultimately, we would like this to be a committee of 3 or more 'beat reporters' collaborating together on content and layout.

Deliver Shabbat/holiday bags or provide transportation to our local Holocaust survivors, twin with a survivor to share their story with the greater community, and participate in other programs to keep their stories alive.

Volunteers needed to read to children in local elementary and preschools. Books and training are provided through the Reading Buddies program.

We need people to keep on top of grant sources by scanning the internet for grant opportunities for bicycle or trail-related projects. Our main source of grant money is the Recreational Trails Program (RTP), but we need additional grant sources for bike park projects, trail marking, equipment, infrastructure, etc.

We need someone that can keep on top of all JORBA events, such as trail work, group rides, and any other events, and get the word out to the riding community. This person would interface with all the JORBA chapters and pass along events generated at the chapter or JORBA level.

Run engaging activities at our Social Adult Day Center, providing social interaction and enrichment for adult participants.

Assist with various duties at The Seeing Eye's campuses, including meeting puppies and dogs in the program. Volunteers must be 18 or older, and the average wait time for placement is six months to a year.

Join us for the 2026 Hunger Walk & 5K Run to help fight hunger in Morris County. Volunteers will assist with event setup, registration, and support participants during the race and walk.

Support recreational activities for individuals with I/DD, including the Morris County Adaptive Recreational Program (McARP), Teen Club, and Paradise Farm day camp. Volunteers will assist with activity planning and participant engagement.

Assist in organizing and running community events such as Walktoberfest and the Annual Awards Gala. Volunteers will help with event setup, registration, and guest assistance.

As a Home Delivery Volunteer, you will deliver groceries to elderly and home-bound clients once or twice per month. This role offers a flexible schedule and allows you to involve your family in volunteering, as you will shop for your client based on their preferences and deliver at a mutually agreeable time.

Volunteers help with various tasks including home construction, neighborhood revitalization, and assisting at the ReStore. No prior experience is necessary, and training is provided on-site.

This is a very important job that requires inspection of all items that arrive at our donation drop off. We need to ensure each item meets our guidelines for acceptance to guarantee the safety and level of quality we offer our customers.
