Coaches play a unique role in Special Olympics Idaho, working hands-on with athletes to provide the sports, skills, and spirit they need to compete. We recruit coaches year-round for three unique sports seasons, and it only takes 1-2 hours a week to make a meaningful impact.

Event Volunteers are crucial to organizing and managing our events. Our volunteers are the individuals that make our competitions and fundraising opportunities happen, contributing significantly to our mission.

Unified Sports is an inclusive sports program that unites Special Olympics athletes (individuals with intellectual disabilities) and partners (individuals without intellectual disabilities) as teammates for training and competition.

Provide temporary homes for cats and kittens until they are ready for adoption. Volunteers will care for the cats, ensuring they are healthy and socialized.

Assist in the Trap-Neuter-Return process to help manage and reduce the feral cat population. Volunteers will help trap cats, transport them to veterinary clinics, and return them to their original locations after recovery.
