Norfolk Vol Fire Dept
We have 50 active members, all volunteers. The Norfolk Fire Department provides structural fire suppression, wildland fire suppression, rescue ops, and we offer a fire prevention program to the residents of the Town of Norfolk. We operate out of 3 stations and respond to approximately 140-150 calls per year. We provide opportunity for junior members and are actively recruiting for members across our entire community.
Repair the World
Join Repair the World’s Summer Teen Service Corps, a service-learning program for teens in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Participants will volunteer at local non-profits and explore connections between identity and service.
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine
Lead Rescuers are responsible for completing all steps necessary for a food rescue event. Lead Rescuers go through a brief training process and can then sign up to lead food rescue events on a recurring or sporadic basis. All Lead Rescuers can elect to lead food rescue events on a volunteer basis as Volunteer Lead Rescuers.
RUSA LGBTQ
Support fundraising efforts and manage merchandise. Volunteers will help organize campaigns and manage inventory to support the organization's financial goals.
IndyKids
As a mentor, you will be working with students age 10-14 years old at our Kid Reporter Program workshops in New York City to guide them through brainstorming, research, writing, and editing their articles for the IndyKids newspaper.
PennPAC
Lead a team of approximately 3-5 consultants, working 4-5 hours per week. All leaders receive training prior to the start of the consulting engagement. Leadership experience is encouraged.

Crew Volunteers can volunteer with RLC without completing training and without any sort of time or frequency commitment. You’ll be helping the food rescue event’s Lead Rescuer bring food donations from the donor to the designated nonprofit recipient partner. This role is only available in New York City.
