Organize quarterly volunteer continuing education sessions, including a half-day training event. This role involves 2 hours per month plus additional time for the quarterly event.

Teach a life skill to participants of 1/99, helping them gain valuable knowledge and abilities. This is a one-time commitment of 3-4 hours.

Assist in staffing our adoption events, helping set up, manage, and take down event materials. Volunteers will interact with potential adopters and help ensure a smooth event experience.

Assist with the daily operations of the animal shelter, including feeding, cleaning, and caring for the animals. Volunteers may also help with adoption events and general shelter maintenance.

Help bring our fundraising events to life by volunteering at our Annual 5K/1K Fun Run, Golf Fundraiser, SplashCove, and Santa Event. Volunteers will assist with event setup, participant registration, and other event-day activities.

Lead monthly support groups for individuals and families navigating autism. Facilitators provide guidance, share resources, and foster a supportive community environment.

Assist with occasional office projects, primarily involving organizational tasks. Volunteers will help with filing, data entry, and other administrative duties to support our operations.

Support various events for individuals with autism and their families, including game nights, social groups, sensory-friendly outings, swim days, and movie showings. Volunteers will help organize and lead activities.

Teach exercise classes to seniors of all mobility levels to promote physical health and wellness.

Capture events on video to create visual records and promotional materials for the organization.

Provide transportation for seniors to and from activities using a passenger van. Only a regular driver's license is needed, and training will be provided.

Teach basic, intermediate, and/or advanced English to Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese speakers to help improve their language skills.

Assist in translating flyers into Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and other Asian languages to help communicate important information to the community.

Create brochures, flyers, and social media posts to help promote the organization's programs and events.
