Assist in organizing and facilitating outdoor events such as Spring Turkey hunts, Fall Fishing trips, and Winter Deer hunts for veterans. Volunteers will help with logistics, setup, and ensuring a smooth experience for participants.

Assist in bringing shows to life by volunteering behind the scenes. Responsibilities include set construction, painting, prop management, costume construction, and stage management assistance.

Support the community and local theatre by volunteering at performances. Roles include ticket selling, information table management, ticket scanning, ushering, program distribution, and managing auctions or raffles.

Lead square dance classes to provide seniors with a fun and engaging physical activity.

Teach exercise classes to seniors of all mobility levels to promote physical health and wellness.

Capture events on video to create visual records and promotional materials for the organization.

Assist in translating flyers into Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and other Asian languages to help communicate important information to the community.

Teach art classes such as Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Knotting, Origami, Knitting, and Crochet to engage seniors in creative activities.

Provide transportation for seniors to and from activities using a passenger van. Only a regular driver's license is needed, and training will be provided.

Capture photos of events to document and promote the activities and programs offered by the organization.

Troubleshoot IT issues to support the organization's technological needs and ensure smooth operations.

Create brochures, flyers, and social media posts to help promote the organization's programs and events.

Teach basic, intermediate, and/or advanced English to Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese speakers to help improve their language skills.

Provide educational seminars for the Healthy Aging Series, requiring proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese.

Research and identify potential grant opportunities to support our rescue efforts. Volunteers should have strong research skills and be able to work independently.
