Assist with cleaning stalls, refreshing waters, feeding animals, and general facility maintenance. Volunteers will work under the supervision of experienced staff and are encouraged to commit to a minimum of 5-10 hours per month.

As a Veteran Outreach Volunteer, you will assist in connecting Veterans with the healing services offered by the Forgotten Soldier Program. Responsibilities include outreach efforts, providing support during events, and helping to create a welcoming environment for Veterans seeking assistance.

Join the Mother Lode Arabian Horse Association in supporting our youth members through various activities such as local schooling shows, clinics, and contests. Volunteers will help organize events, assist with logistics, and mentor young equestrians in their horse-related endeavors.

The primary focus of the Resident Firefighter shall be to obtain on-the-job training to better prepare themselves for a career in the fire service. Under general supervision of a Fire Captain, the Resident Firefighter trains in the general duties and responsibilities of a Firefighter, participates in regular training, drills and study activities; participates in fire prevention activities; assists in the maintenance of fire stations, apparatus, and equipment; responds to alarms, rescue and other emergency calls, assists in protecting life and property endangered by fire or other hazards, administers emergency medical care; participates in scheduled public relations activities and performs other duties as assigned. The Resident Firefighter classification is a volunteer position. There is no salary or hourly compensation.
