Provide a temporary home for rescued dogs, offering love, a warm bed, routine, basic training, and trips to the vet as needed. Help prepare dogs for adoption by getting to know their personalities and needs.

Help manage the rescue's social media presence and email marketing campaigns to raise awareness and engage the community. Volunteers will create content and interact with followers.

Assist in organizing and managing events to support the rescue's mission. Volunteers will help with setup, coordination, and engagement with attendees.

Support the adoption process by coordinating between potential adopters and the rescue. Volunteers will assist with applications and communications to ensure successful adoptions.

Volunteers will lead citizenship classes for immigrants, helping them prepare for the U.S. naturalization exam by teaching American history and government. Classes are held at various locations, including high schools and libraries.

Assist in designing icons, web assets, and event flyers with our Project LEDO media team using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign. Flexible hours: a few hours per week or per month.

Help plan and organize program activities, such as events, workshops, and fundraising campaigns. Work with the leadership team to develop and implement programs that align with Project LEDO’s mission and goals. Requires 10 hours a week.

Help students (ages 6-10) in the Portland metro area prepare for LEGO robotics competitions. Commitment involves 1-2 hours after 2:00pm for 2 months.

Help organize all aspects of volunteering, from recruiting new volunteers to promoting opportunities for people who want more volunteer hours in their schedule. Requires 10-20 hours a week.

Manage Project LEDO’s social media accounts and create engaging content to promote our mission and goals. Flexible hours: a few hours per week or per month.

Provide mentoring to elementary or middle school students in the Parkrose School District. Support students at a critical stage of development through online or in-person mentoring.

Provide pro bono advisory services or project management support to help SAGE achieve its mission. Share expertise in social causes, project management, or communications.
