Volunteer to provide meals for our Community Dinner Ministry in Purcellville. This involves preparing and serving food to community members in need every Thursday at 5:30pm.

Help maintain our Food Pantries in Purcellville and Ashburn by donating food items. Volunteers are needed to organize and stock shelves to ensure the community has access to necessary food supplies.

Assist with our back-to-school event in Purcellville, providing free clothing, furniture, backpacks, and more to families in need. This event takes place on August 16th.

Volunteers are needed on the farm from March through early November to assist with planting, weeding, watering, field maintenance, and harvesting. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old and able to walk unassisted on uneven farmland in various weather conditions.

The Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company (PVFC) was established in 1923 after the Town of Purcellville endured a series of disastrous fires, the first in 1900 and then two more in 1914, which virtually wiped out the business district, depriving the Town of much of its earliest architectural heritage. PVFC is a non-profit organization established to provide a variety of fire and other emergency services to the Town of Purcellville and surrounding area. We currently operate as a combination organization within the Loudoun County Combine Fire and Rescue System. Both men and women, between the ages of 16 and 60+, staff our trucks, provide administrative support, and offer a variety of emergency services to the community. Purcellville (pop 9,040) is located 50 miles west of the Nation’s Capital along the Northern Ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just a short drive from the Shenandoah River. The Company operates two Class A engines, one of which is a Rescue Engine, a Tower/Ladder Truck, a 3,000 Gallon Tanker, Brush Truck and Attack Jeep for woodland incidents, a Special Emergency Response Vehicle (SERV), a Command vehicle and a Utility vehicle.
