Bachelors Hall Volunteer Fire Rescue Department (Station 30/Squad 30) provides fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services to Vandola, Bachelors Hall, Buford, and surrounding communities in Pittsylvania County. We are currently seeking additional volunteers such as Firefighters, Junior Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics, and Drivers. Respond to volunteer inquiries and assist in organizing volunteers for special projects within TGRR.

Conduct home visits for prospective adopters to ensure a suitable environment for the Golden Retrievers before placement.

Assist with parking cars at Grasshopper’s baseball games and participate in planning and executing fundraising activities from April to September.

Solicit and write articles for the TGRR newsletter, ensuring it is printed and distributed quarterly.

Maintain and update the TGRR website to ensure accurate and current information is available to the public.

Develop and present educational programs about Golden Retrievers and responsible dog care to the public.

Promote TGRR’s activities and events through various media channels to increase public awareness and engagement.

Volunteers are needed to support various functions of the Triad Ballet, including assisting with events, performances, and administrative tasks. Volunteers can contribute their time and expertise to help the organization thrive.

Participate in adoption fairs during Spring and Fall to meet and greet the public, sharing information about Golden Retrievers and TGRR.

Volunteers will assist in the physical removal of salvaged materials from properties in peril or pending demolition. They will also coordinate donation pickups and increase connections with contractors and salvage groups.

Volunteers will organize, merchandise, and price products at The Salvage Shop. They will also serve as sales staff during sale events and private appointments, and assist in developing an online sales platform to increase sales volume.
