The First Mayor’s House is seeking volunteer docents, ages 18 and up, to assist educators in guiding student tour groups through interactive stations. Volunteers will receive training and are expected to commit 3 hours per week during the school year.

Volunteers must complete an application, attend an orientation, and clear a background check and TB test.

Volunteers assist with food distribution on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Responsibilities include helping to set up the pantry, distributing food bags, and ensuring a smooth operation during open hours. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and sign a safety waiver during an orientation before volunteering.

Volunteers will participate in various tasks to help maintain and restore park areas, with all tools and training provided. No previous experience is needed to participate in a volunteer workday.

As an Information Table Volunteer, you will represent Golden Oldies at community events and information tables. This role involves engaging with the public and sharing information about our mission and the cats we rescue.
