Accompany our Street Ministers in engaging with people living outside and visiting encampments. A background check is required, along with adherence to our mission.

Ministers of Presence are needed to connect with individuals we serve. This role requires ordained Christian clergy or certified chaplains to be available for two hours once a week.

Flex your social media skills by helping us connect with our online communities on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Work collaboratively with our Social Media Manager to share unique content featuring stories and photos of the neighborhood, share neighborhood news via reposts, and promote the organization’s activities and supporters.

Participate in Thursday evening sessions to work with honey bees and pollinator plants. Volunteers help maintain and support the pollinator ecosystem in the garden.

Help educate the public about orca conservation efforts at Seawolves matches in Tukwila. Volunteers will engage with attendees, distribute educational materials, and promote awareness of the challenges facing Southern Resident killer whales.

Make sandwiches to be distributed in our Dispatch Center. This can be done at your convenience, and sandwiches must be made in a commercial-grade kitchen following health codes.

Join the oil spill response team to help mitigate the impact of oil spills on marine life, particularly orcas. Volunteers will receive training and participate in clean-up efforts and monitoring activities.

Participate in community outreach events to raise awareness and support for orca conservation. Volunteers will assist in organizing events, engaging with the public, and distributing information about the organization's initiatives.

Volunteers are needed for various roles including transport, online work, and fundraising. Volunteers can choose to participate in different activities based on their interests and skills.

Volunteer to teach English, business, leadership, and community development to young women at The Leadership Center in Honduras. Volunteers will mentor students and help them develop skills to become change agents in their communities.

Join a crucial training call on proactive disaster planning for rural & small libraries. Volunteers will assist in creating or updating disaster preparedness strategies to safeguard collections, staff, and patrons.

Join a team to clean up local beaches by removing litter and debris, helping to preserve marine life and maintain beautiful public spaces. Volunteers should be prepared for outdoor work and bring gloves if possible.

Help grow food for the White Center Food Bank by working in our school beds and botanical gardens. Volunteer sessions are available on Wednesday and Friday mornings, and Thursday evenings with the Pollinator Program.

Volunteer drivers are needed to transport men and women to off-site shelters. Volunteer hours are from 7 PM – 9 PM, and drivers must have a valid driver's license and complete a volunteer application.
