The Events Coordinator plans and coordinates fundraising and special events, working closely with the Marketing Coordinators and Board Members. This role is key in advancing KARE's fundraising efforts.

Volunteers act as 'extras' during evaluations for Pet Partners or CGC certifications, role-playing with the testing team. No specific training is required.

Volunteers capture photos and videos of training classes, ideally with experience in photo and video editing. This role supports KARE's marketing and educational efforts.

Volunteers serve the community through special events standby and assistance to citizens through requests for information, assistance, or education. All new Volunteers will be assigned to the Rehab/Support apparatus. Rehab is an essential unit at all extended emergency scenes and training events. Assist in packaging meals for children in need across various countries. Volunteers will help organize, pack, and prepare meals for distribution.

Coordinate the collection and distribution of donated technology items such as cell phones and laptops for educational purposes. Volunteers will manage inventory and ensure items meet donation criteria.

Transport volunteers help shuttle animals to appointments and meet-and-greets, supporting foster parents and adoption efforts. Volunteers must have a vehicle and be able to meet scheduled appointments.

Volunteers assist with the Housing Outreach Pet Education program, providing behavior support and resources for community members facing housing instability. Tasks include fundraising, coordination, and planning.

Support clients with the preparation and filing of their federal tax returns.

A non-lawyer trained individual authorized by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to provide legal representation in immigration matters.

Transport clients and youth to and from appointments and events.

Assist clients in obtaining business licenses and filing state taxes quarterly.

Assist with the transportation of large furniture items.

Offer tutoring and support to youth study groups.

Provide assistance in various tasks to ensure successful execution of events such as workshops and fundraising events.
