We are looking for individuals interested in the fire and Ems field. We are a small department inn Licking County, Ohio. We currently stay with three part time Firefighter/EMT and Paramedics. We take around 800 calls annually. The Bladensburg Fire District is looking for members in the Clay, Jackson township areas within Knox County, or anyone within eight miles of either station that are wishing to volunteer as a firefighter and/or emergency medical provider or a junior firefighter (15 to 18 and still in school). All member training is provided by the organization. Volunteers for the Bladensburg Fire District work side by side with part time staff during daytime hours, an are 100% responsible for response in the evenings. Support the financial operations of the organization by assisting with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting tasks.

Assist with administrative tasks to support the organization's operations and programs. Volunteers will help with data entry, filing, and other office-related tasks.

Assist with gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, and maintaining garden plots to help grow the community. Volunteers will work alongside others to cultivate a healthy environment.

Assist in setting up and tearing down the Community Roots stand at the Saturday Farmer's Market. Engage with the community and promote the organization's mission.

As a museum docent, you will engage with the public, providing information and guiding visitors through exhibits. This role is perfect for those who enjoy sharing knowledge about local history and interacting with diverse audiences.

Join us in maintaining the historical buildings and grounds of the society. This role involves light maintenance tasks, gardening, and ensuring the facilities are welcoming for visitors.

Help process and organize the collection of artifacts at the Granville Historical Society. Volunteers will assist in cataloging items, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining the integrity of the collection.

Drive a resident to weekly classes at C-tec or Heartbeats and babysit for 2-3 hours while the resident attends classes. Requires a valid driver's license, insurance, and a background check.

Serve as a role model, teacher, advisor, counselor, and advocate to young women in the home. Assist with skills such as budgeting, parenting, time management, cooking, and baking. Requires a sincere desire to be a positive example.

Perform indoor and outdoor maintenance and repairs at the maternity home. Requires completion of volunteer paperwork and a background check.
