Berlin Township Fire Department also provides protection to the Village of Berlin Heights and portions of the Ohio Turnpike. The Berlin Township Fire Department is a volunteer department which responds to fire, rescue, hazmat, and EMS calls. Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) answer EMS calls to assist North Central EMS with medical situations. We are currently taking applications from those who wish to serve their community and make a difference helping others. The department will send accepted candidates to EHOVE Fire Academy for state required training and certifications.
