As a volunteer crisis counselor, you will provide empathetic support to individuals in crisis through our hotline. You will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes 150 hours of training on crisis intervention techniques, both in-person and virtually.

As an instructor for English Language Learners, you will provide small group instruction for beginner level English language learners. Classes meet for 6 hours, 2 times a week from September to June.

In this role, you will help adults who never learned to read or write in a supportive group environment. Small group instruction meets for 2 hours per week on an ongoing basis at local libraries.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting volunteers, following up with interested individuals, matching their interests with the needs of the Playhouse, and facilitating volunteer orientation and training. A commitment of 2-5 hours per week is required.
