No previous firefighting experience is required. We conduct regular weekly training and also help sponsor dedicated members that wish to attain their firefighter certifications from the Rhode Island Fire Academy. Junior members are our 14-18 year olds that want to learn firefighting and may also be participating in fire classes in their high school studies. Membership is also welcome from those who may not be able to do actual firefighting tasks due to age, disability, health limitations, fear, etc. These Support Personnel are valuable assets and provide additional help and support at emergency incidents.
