The West Point Volunteer Fire Department (WPVFD) is seeking new volunteer members! WPVFD is a small, single-station department that provides primary fire protection and emergency medical services to the great citizens of the Town of West Point and King William County. No experience required, but seasoned emergency medical professionals welcome to apply! WPVFD provides all training required to join the department at no cost to you. Volunteering with WPVFD is a rewarding opportunity to be a part of a close-knit team, while serving a great community, and building valuable skills that can be leveraged into a future career in medical and emergency services. All new members are required to obtain the following within 24 months of joining the department: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification and Emergency Vehicle Operations Certification (EVOC).
