Pleasant View FD is looking for dedicated, passionate, and hard-working individuals to join us as Volunteer Firefighters. Pleasant View is a 2.5 mile district tucked between Golden and the Denver Metro area; and although small, it consists of residential, commercial, highway, and wildland areas. We often get the opportunity to work in conjunction with our neighboring departments, Golden and Fairmount, to provide coverage and protection to a larger region. Volunteers dedicate at least 36 hours of shift-time monthly, and the department commits to offering ample trainings, multiple certifications, and support to become the best Firefighter you can be. This is a great way to gain experience in the fire service if you are looking to change careers, or just a way to give back and serve your community.
