High School graduate, at a minimum Pass a criminal background check Pass an oral interview with the Fire Chief Pass a medical / physical examination, including drug tests Available to participate in department evening training twice per month (first and third Wednesday) EXPECTATIONS Upon completion of orientation and training in one or more areas, some minimum expectations of members include: Responding to all calls for service on rotating assigned nights from 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. (Including holidays and weekends) Respond to all calls for service when the member is available Be assigned at least one weekend day shift per month (This may be on-call from home or staffed in station) Continue to seek personal improvement through continued training opportunities | Categories: Firefighter, EMT
